Background

When it was known that the former tenants, Tradeteam (part of DHL) were not looking to renew their lease after 15 years in occupation, Belstone was instructed to secure the property once vacant possession had been achieved.

Remit

A team of four resident guards was appointed to manage the site and to control access for all visitors, including agents, contractors surveyors and prospective occupiers, throughout a period of a major refurbishment and construction works and ongoing marketing.

Outcome:

The building was refurbished and subsequently, let to Amazon.

Industrial Estate, London W3

A multi let and part vacant modern industrial estate of circa 200,000sq ft (18,580 sq m).

Background

One of the larger vacant units was squatted and Belstone was instructed to take possession of the building in order to ensure its safety and security throughout the marketing phase, whilst also looking after several smaller vacant units, again until tenants had been secured.

A team of four resident guards was appointed to manage the site and to control access for all visitors, including agents, contractors, surveyors and prospective occupiers.

Outcome:

All of the vacant units were subsequently let and Belstone was retained to provide additional ongoing security for both the landlord and one of the major tenants, in the short term.
